About
Hey, I’m Austin. I work in cyber security, primarily in incident response, and I enjoy what I do. Most of my days are spent investigating alerts, improving detection logic, and figuring out why users have an insatiable desire to click things.
This site is a mix of work and personal interests. You’ll find write-ups on security investigations, technical tools, notes from ongoing studies, and the occasional deeper thought.
One part of this site is dedicated to 'Michaelion' a personal project exploring spiritual discipline (physical, too) and the pursuit of a more meaningful life. It’s rooted in Catholic tradition, with St. Michael as it's patron, and built around the idea that becoming a better man is a three-fold effort.
Thank you,
So whether you’re here for cyber content, business thoughts, or more contemplative ideas; thanks for stopping by. I appreciate it.
~Austin
